Terms and Conditions of Sale

These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of the software-as-a-service platform operated by Le Module, which lets you create and run your own website and online store.

Service Provider

Provider: Le Module

The Service

The platform is a hosted, multi-tenant service that lets you build and operate your own site and online store under your own domain. We host your workspace, keep the platform running, and provide it on a subscription basis. You are responsible for the content you publish and for how you use the service.

Your Account

You need an account to use the platform. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Free Trial

We may offer a free trial so you can evaluate the platform. The trial gives you access to the service for a limited period and may be subject to feature or usage limits. At the end of the trial, you need an active paid subscription to continue using the service; otherwise access may be suspended and trial data may be removed after a reasonable period.

Subscription, Billing and Renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance at the start of each billing period (for example monthly or yearly) using the payment method on file, and renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never have access to your payment card details and do not store them. Prices are shown at the time of subscription and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until that date. Unless required by law, amounts already paid for the current period are not refunded.

Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of the content and data you create or upload to your workspace. You grant us the permissions needed to host, store, back up, and display that content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to your content and that it complies with applicable law.

Acceptable Use

When using the platform, you agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose or to publish unlawful content
  • Send spam, harass others, or infringe the intellectual property of third parties
  • Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other accounts
  • Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the infrastructure or other tenants
  • Scrape, resell, or sublicense the service without our prior written consent

Service Availability

We work to keep the platform available and take daily backups, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may carry out maintenance, updates, and improvements that occasionally interrupt access. We recommend you keep your own backups of important content where possible.

Intellectual Property

The platform, including its software, design, and branding, is and remains the property of Le Module and its licensors. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; it does not transfer any ownership of the platform to you.

Suspension and Termination

You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that harms the platform or other users. After termination, your workspace data is deleted within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to retain it.

Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may update the service and these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the platform. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email, and your continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.

Hosting and GDPR Compliance

Our servers are hosted in Europe and comply with the obligations of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in order to safeguard the freedom and autonomy of our users. Your data is not shared with any third party, except Stripe for payment processing, and we remain fully independent from any large technology company.

Limitation of Liability

Le Module shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, nor for content published by you or your users. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service over the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence remain unaffected.
