General settings

The settings gather the whole configuration of your studio in a single document. They are organized into tabs: General, Booking, Payment, Appearance, Emails, Tools and AI. This article covers the General tab, which is the first one to fill in: its content is reused in the emails, the legal pages, the contact form and the way dates are displayed.

Studio identity

  • Site name — the name shown in the header, the emails and the browser tabs. Required.
  • Site description — a one-line pitch, translated per language. It is the default description for search engines and social shares.
  • Company name — the legal entity. It is what appears as the company and data controller in the generated legal pages (terms and conditions, privacy policy).
  • Physical address and map link — shown on the public site to locate the studio.
  • Google listing ID — once filled in, the rating, review count and opening hours of the listing are carried onto the home banner every day. Exceptional hours are followed just like the usual ones: a holiday closure entered on the Google listing shows on the site by the next day at the latest. The free-text hours field, if filled in, takes priority and replaces the whole thing.

Contact details

  • Company administrative email — required. It is the default sending address for emails, used as long as no contact email is set in the Emails tab.
  • Contact name — the person notified whenever an account is created; their name is the greeting in the notification email.
  • Contact phone — shown on the public site.

Language

The site is bilingual (French and English) and the default language is the one served to a visitor who has not chosen one. Every translatable content — page, product, activity, email template — is entered language by language: the language switcher in the admin panel moves from one version to the other. A field left empty in one language shows up empty on the site in that language.

Date and time

The time zone is the most structural setting of the platform: it defines the "local" time of your studio. Sessions are stored in universal time and displayed in that zone, in the planning calendar as well as on the public site and in the emails. Changing it afterwards shifts the display of every session you have: set it once, at the start.

The date format (31/12/2025, 12/31/2025, ISO or long) and the time format (24 h or 12 h) only change the presentation, never the data. They apply everywhere a date is displayed.

The other tabs

The other tabs have their own articles: Appearance in Logo, colors and visual identity, Booking in The booking rules, Payment in Configuring Stripe, Emails in Email templates & settings, Tools and AI in Translation and SEO generation.
