The media library

The media library is the single repository for all your files: the images of your pages and products, the photos of your coaches, your videos, your logo, your PDF documents. A file is uploaded once, and reused everywhere. Your studio’s files are yours alone: no other studio can reach them.

Accepted formats

  • Images — JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG and icons. SVG files are cleaned on upload: any code they might carry is stripped.
  • Videos — MP4 and WebM, but also camera and phone formats (MOV, AVI, MKV…), automatically converted to MP4 on save so they play in every browser.
  • Documents — PDF.

Several files can be uploaded at once. Images are resized by the platform to be served at the right size for the visitor’s screen: upload the best quality you have, it will not be sent as-is to phones.

Alternative text and caption

The alternative text describes the image for those who cannot see it — screen readers, broken connections — and is read by search engines. Fill it in at every upload, as a short, factual sentence. The caption is optional and is displayed under the image when the block provides for it.

Automatic housekeeping

Two tasks run every night, with no action from you: images that are too heavy are recompressed to speed the site up, and files that have become orphans — no longer referenced by any page, product or record — are deleted from disk. A file still used somewhere is never touched.

Deleting an image from the media library, on the other hand, removes it immediately: it disappears from the pages that used it. Check that it is no longer referenced before deleting it.
